Preventive Maintenance

Maintenance plan: This plan's main idea is to provide the basic care of the yacht. This will allow to maintain it and determine if all the instrumentation is functioning properly at a very accessible cost. This plan includes: 

1) General checkup and functionality of electronic equipment: Radar, depth sounder, VHF radio, satellite TV, bow thruster, trim tabs, toilets, lights, general pumps, auto pilot, etc.. (check list, once a month) 

2) General checkup of engines, generator, water pumps, water maker and other specialized onboard equipment. (check list, twice a month) 

3) Minor adjustments and cleaning of sea strainers as required. 

4) Movement of seacock valves to avoid solidification. (once a month) 

5) General fluid levels check (oils, hydraulic fluid, coolant, power steering, etc.) 

6) General inspection of the vessel to determine if repairs are needed. 

This basic plan has a monthly value of $350 for vessels up to 60ft and $600 for vessels up to 95ft in length. A customized check list will be created for each vessel which will describe all the equipmet that has been checked per visit as well as written notes which will be provided by the technician. Our customers are provided a copy of each report via e-mail. We are known for our quality work as well as our transparency in our detailed reports and invoices. 

As a DM Yacht Solutions customer, all other repairs and/or installations will be quoted individually as we detect any failures, repairs or as requested by the customer. This will be charged as an hourly rate by specialty. Always keeping into consideration that our customers who have a maintenance plan with us, will receive a much better hourly rate than those who do not have a maintenance plan.

This is because we have already done inspections of the vessel,we know what's wrong and exactly what is needed to repair it, saving us time when looking for all the parts, accesories and equipment needed for the specific job.
